French Innovation. Maritime Ambition.
NXT LVL NAVAL is a French naval and maritime technology company headquartered in Cannes, dedicated to developing the next generation of maritime platforms, industrial capabilities and advanced technologies.
Our ambition is to bring together engineering, innovation and industrial expertise to address some of the most pressing challenges facing the maritime and defence sectors: industrial capacity, autonomous operations, energy security and critical infrastructure.
We believe that the future of the maritime industry will be shaped not only by individual technologies, but by the ability to integrate them into complete, operational and scalable solutions.
Our Vision
One Platform. Multiple Missions.
We are establishing our centre for maritime research, engineering and technological innovation, bringing together French startups, established industrial companies, research institutions and specialist engineering teams.
Our approach is built around a clear principle: develop and coordinate innovation in France, while leveraging the industrial capabilities best suited to each programme.
Through this model, NXT LVL NAVAL seeks to contribute to French technological sovereignty, strengthen the maritime industrial ecosystem and accelerate the development of future maritime capabilities.
Our Programmes
Our activities are structured around four strategic programmes:
NXT UNMANNED — Autonomous Maritime Systems
Developing next-generation unmanned maritime platforms, including NXT U15, an ocean-going autonomous surface vessel conceived to bring together technologies from French startups and industrial partners into one integrated, Made in France platform.
NXT CAP — Naval Industrial Capacity
Developing manufacturing capabilities for naval blocks, modules and structures, with a focus on modern production methods, industrial efficiency and supporting shipyards facing increasing capacity demands.
NXT NUKE — Floating Nuclear Infrastructure
Exploring modular, non-propelled floating nuclear power platforms designed to support coastal infrastructure, industrial facilities, island communities and future energy-intensive applications, in collaboration with qualified nuclear technology providers and regulatory stakeholders.
NXT DATA — Maritime Digital Infrastructure
Developing concepts for floating data-centre infrastructure, combining maritime engineering with the growing demand for resilient, scalable digital capacity.
Our Commitment
France possesses an exceptional maritime and industrial ecosystem, from shipbuilding and defence to nuclear engineering, robotics, artificial intelligence and advanced energy systems.
Our objective is to connect these capabilities through concrete industrial programmes, creating opportunities for French businesses to collaborate, innovate and develop solutions together.
From our base in Cannes, we intend to build a research and engineering centre capable of supporting multiple programmes, while developing partnerships with industrial facilities across France and internationally.
Building the Next Level
NXT LVL NAVAL is driven by an entrepreneurial vision: to challenge conventional approaches, bring complementary expertise together and turn ambitious maritime concepts into achievable industrial programmes.
Engineered in France. Built through collaboration. Designed for the future.
